once upon a time, i was much applauded for a "security demerit" tracking system i used for reporting staff... i used to count how many times i caught tellers walking away from unlocked wicket drawers or leaving their teller stamps unattended on the counter etc.
the stats were included in performance appraisals that dictated raises, and prizes were awarded regularly for those with the fewest deficiencies. would a similar system work for barn staff?

i envision some kind of shared log book, kept in the feedroom perhaps, for longer term review and analysis/discussion, in which team members share such things
