i liked how our laminated volunteer pass tags at hillside had a few handy tips printed on the back. i think jump judges should get a similar reminder, perhaps a laminated card on each clipboard that includes:
FOR EMERGENCIES
1) take charge
2) call for help
3) assess/report hazards/make area safe
4) identify yourself/offer help
5) assess/report responsiveness (if head/spinal injury is suspected, support head/neck)

st. john ambulance step by step guide for artifical respiration, cpr and choking/ bleeding / unconsciousness;
they should also offer sunscreen and bug spray before you head out, and tell you which way to send eliminated competitors
