Margaret Godson has been making confident riders for decades, through dedication and skill that has touched both human and equine athletes. Margie's calm, skillful coaching insists on the best of each horse and rider (as well as herself), at all times. She is consistent, compassionate, tough, fair, hardworking, honest and thoroughly ethical in all aspects of conduct.
So that every step of the way, your best is what you thrive on giving, not just for yourself, but for the horse, and for her.
She promotes her sport and brand of horsemanship, not just with a winter lecture series that promotes horse welfare and rider theory. Not just with an annual Christmas Gymkana. But also through annual competitive events at Myrddin Equestrian Centre each fall. She supports the sport of eventing by providing these inviting forums, including spectators! The annual entry level experience of a short course is the highlight of many equestrian's season! Meanwhile, even her course maps and on-site organization share knowledges and insight about the discipline, not just with her students, but with all event participants and spectators. Note that she has also represented the Provincial Sport Office and promoted equine matters in a booth at her region's Fall Fair.
In addition, in her lifetime she has bred, raised and trained some very good horses, This has augmented her demonstrated coaching ability and the success of her students in the discipline, and in life.
Thanks for your consideration!
